Between the Science Park (Strømsø) and Drammen Park (Bragernes) there will be a new pedestrian bridge called Ypsilon (built in Sandnessjøen by Ruukki).

The area around Union has undergone the most extensive development work, including cultural arenas, small and innovative companies, a Business School, a scince park, a library and a built-up residential area called Union Brygge.
