Sørum

Sørum muncipality has approximately 16.000 inhabitants and covers a area of 206,6 km2. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Sørumsand. Farming and forestry have always been important for settling and employment in Sørum. The main attractions are the Blaker Skanse, Frogner Church, Sørum Church, Ranasfoss recreation area and "Tertitten".

The most important motorways and main roads to and from the whole of Norway go through Akershus.
