TYRIFJORD HOTEL
Modum have one hotel, Tyrifjord Hotel, with 64 rooms and 128 beds. The hotel is located in Vikersund a the seaside of Tyrifjorden, in very nice surroundings. The hotel can offer a lot of activities both summer and winter to reasonable prices.
VIKERSUND
West side of Vikersund and Tyrifjorden Vikersund is the "center" of Modum and has a population of about 2,000. The civil center and the local center of commerce are situated here. As well as a wide range of shops, there is a post-office, bank and pharmacy. By the court house you can find the statue called "Seljefløyten" (the Wooden Whistle) in memory of the painter Christian Skredsvig.
