ØRNES
Services such as post office, bank, petrol station, shops, hotel and pharmacy are available in the centre of Ørnes. The Coastal Express (Hurtigruten) and a fast ferry call daily. Ferries to Meløya, Bolga and Støtt, while Grønøy and Åmøy can be reached via bridges. The pine tree on the front of Nitedal’s matchboxes was originally found on Grønøy by the painter Torolf Holmboe.
