KABELVÅGKabelvåg, Lofoten's oldest fishing village, has traditions dating back to the Middle Ages. Vågan Church, also known as "Lofoten Cathedral" can also be found in Kabelvåg . It was built in 1898 and can accommodate up to 1.200 people, the Aquarium and the Fishing Museum are worth visiting. Just outside Kabelvåg is the modern tourist centre, Nyvågar.
