VRÅDAL
Vrådal is the district's main tourist centre. Large lakes and numerous islands are a feature of Vrådal. One of the last needle dams in the country can be found at the locks between Nisser and Vråvatn.
There are two modern hotels as well as several high standard cabins for hire. Signposted tourist trails, a separate walking map, good berry areas and fishing. At Strand Sommerland there are many activities to choose between with a horse riding centre, cycle hire, swimming beach, boats and wind- surfing boards for hire.
